A little bit of this and that

Why is it still snowing?!?!?!?! We got 10+cm of snow here this weekend and I am SO sick of it. It keeps ruining my running plans and forces me to workout inside. Laaaame. I've upped my workouts from four 45 minute sessions, to four 45 minute sessions and 1-2 half hour sessions. I feel like if I don't have anywhere to be that day (which is most days) I might as well workout. Mind you, lifting Isaac in his car seat is giving me a wicked right deltoid. I'll probably have to stop carrying him around in it soon. I think he's probably between 16 and 17 lbs now. Big boy.

He is HATING nap time lately. He carries on and cries for like 20 minutes and one of us has to go in and shoosh him and then he'll go to sleep. Maybe he thinks he'll miss all the excitement that goes on while he naps. Sorry son it's only dishes, laundry, cooking, cleaning and exercising. This long-winded crying is new this past week and I'm hoping it's just a phase and we can go back to him fussing for 5 minutes and then going to sleep. Ironically he goes to bed at night with hardly any complaints. He might fuss for a few minutes but more often than not he just talks to himself and eventually quiets down and falls asleep. He's also been sleeping through the night almost every night this week. He goes down between 7:30 and 8:30 and will sleep until 6:30 or 7. I'm definitely enjoying the uninterrupted sleep.

His two little teeth are VERY slowly coming up. It's like watching paint dry.

He eats 6 oz every 3 hours like clockwork.

He loves to stand...all the time. He wants to stand and play with his playmat, stand and look at his books, stand and jump on any surface, including my pelvis. If you try and get him to sit, he just straightens his legs out so he can stand. Stubborn boy.

Toys are always more interesting when I have them. If I shake his rattle he flaps his arms, coos excitedly and holds out his hands, but as soon as he gets it it suddenly turns into a boring old toy and he has no interest in it, unless he figures out a way to fit most of it in his mouth.
Now some pictures for your enjoyment.
When all other methods of nap time fail

Big boy standing.
