Lily Grace: 9 months

This month has been a big one for our girl. Besides enjoying her first Christmas, she has mastered crawling and is now pulling herself up to stand. She waves and says "ha" for "hi", gives kisses, and dances, but only when she feels like it. "Dada" is her constant mantra.

She loves to empty the laundry baskets (clean or dirty) and recycling bin, has a fascination with necklaces, earrings, and glasses, and loves chewing on random socks. She has a knack for finding the tiniest scraps of paper and eating them. Her little personality is coming out and she can be a cheeky little munchkin. She is curious and likes to explore by pulling things off shelves.

No teeth have made their appearance yet, but that doesn't stop her from eating pretty much everything. She loves slurping up scrambled eggs and cheese, blueberries, and anything sweet.

She gets a fair bit of unwanted attention from her siblings who seem to think she enjoys being squeezed or poked. But she's a tough cookie who will make her displeasure known.

Her sleeping has been pretty all over the place lately. I'm just going with whatever at this point, because moving is priority numero uno on my mind right now. But hopefully once we're settled I can focus on her sleeping. She will almost exclusively sleep on her stomach now, and she must have a fleecy blanket or stuffy to clutch (don't come at me with pitchforks, all you sleep sack only people).

We love you Lily Lou!
