B: 11 months

I can't believe this girl is just under a month away from her first birthday. She is such a joy to have in our family. Although she's had some rough days this month with one (nearly two) top teeth coming in, she gives some of the best smiles and snuggles, and adds so much fun to our crazy crew.

Now that she is finally mobile, she loves to get into mischief, and finds all kinds of treasures to put in her mouth. As soon as you say "no", she gives you a big toothy grin, because she knows exactly what she is doing. She uses everything as a leaning post to stand, which makes exercising or cooking especially tricky for me when that leaning post is my legs.


She is mimicing lots of sounds and even tries to copy some words, and has attempted quite a few new ones this month like "puh-puh" for puppy, or saying "uh-oh" when she drops something.

B loves
-music of any variety and busting a move
-the big bath
-eating...it's like an olympic sport for her. She will pretty much eat anything, but especially loves fruit, cheese, and pasta. The only thing she is not a huge fan of is toast.

-watching the ceiling fan in the dining room
-cuddling soft stuffies and blankets
-chasing Seamus around the house (he, however, does not appreciate this)
-swinging at the park or playing in the sand

-checking herself out in the mirror
-being surrounded by her people

B hates
-when the food runs out
-me trying to get her to sleep during the night
-long car rides
-her naptime being delayed
