Sweet sweet summer

So many things become much more magical once you have children. Summer is one of those times. Edmonton is an incredible place to raise a family with spray pads and playgrounds at every turn, incredible green spaces, farmers markets and festivals. We always try and make the best of what seems to be a too short season and this year was no different! It was also the first summer in our house, making it extra special!

-we visited 20+ different playgrounds on our side of the city (and also some old favourites)

 

-we celebrated Auntie Becky's wedding to Michael

Mia was the flower girl and the kids danced their faces off

-we took a two day road trip down to Silverwood amusement park in 35+degree weather

the kids went on every ride they could while mummy tried not to puke on them

-we spent weekends with Granny and Grampy

-Granny spent a week with us

-Isaac and Mia spent a week with Grandma and Grandpa in Cranbrook

-Daddy made a rope swing in our front yard

-we renovated our basement so Auntie Devon could move in

-Isaac learned to ride a two wheeler

-Isaac and Mia learned to do monkey bars and had no end of fun in the water

-Scarlett fell in love with the taste of sand, slides, and the waterpark
