B: 2 months

Our Bumblebee is already 2 months old. With both school and playschool, not to mention extra curricular activities, starting back up it feels like my days have shifted into ultra fast forward. I feel like I need a clone of myself just to shuttle everyone around.

B is the chunky monkey of our family so far. Even though she's still smaller than average in the 25th percentile, she far surpasses both her sisters (who were in the 3rd percentile), and even scraped by her big brother in the growth department when compared to the same age. She was 9lbs12oz at 7.5 weeks and 21 inches long, and has plenty of squishable thigh rolls and double chin to show for it.

She is the family celebrity and not an hour goes by where one of her siblings aren't fawning over her or trying to pick her up. Scarlett is an especially attentive big sister and loves to baby talk to B, shove toys in her face, and make me aware of when B is crying. She will even start crying if she thinks I'm taking too long to pick B up when she's fussy, or if she's having a nap and she can't go in the room. Mia imagines herself as undermom, and is constantly trying to pick her up, burp her, and change poopy diapers unsupervised. Even though sometimes I want to put a force field around B so she can have some peace and quiet, it's been a pretty special experience teaching my girls about nurturing and taking care of a baby, and watching their divine natures at work.

B loves...
-baths and showers
-when mom sings to her
-chilling out on the ground
-the sound of water
-peoples faces (especially her mum and sisters)
-music
-cooing

B hates
-gas
-getting dressed
-being carried everywhere
-being manhandled by her siblings
-reflux
-having a stuffy nose

Here's to another month with this special girl!
